October 3: First Saturday Science (Soil Science)
Calling all little scientists! Join us Saturday, October 4 from 10am-12pm in the Jason R. Carter Science Education Center, Room 116.
Dig into soil science! Joins us getting our hands dirty with activities such as building soil layers, hunting for microbes and critters, and testing soil pH. Learn what soil is, how it changes over time, and why it’s important to our environment and everyday life.
Take home activity included!
Kids of all ages are invited to explore science with fun laboratory experiments and hands-on activities!
