On Wednesday January 14th ICE shot another Minnesotan, an exact week since an ICE officer shot and killed Renee Good. The individual who was shot did not sustain life threatening injuries.

Minneapolis Police Chief could not speak on the exact details of the incident stating he did not have any information other than the injuries were non life-threatening.

Mayor Frey pleaded with Minnesotans to not “take the bait”. Frey urged them to consider what could happen to local schools and businesses in Minneapolis and any other city in the United States. Frey applauded peaceful protesters but urged others to cease any non peaceful protests.

Frey stated “We can stop going down this route together” warning citizens that he is concerned that there may not be enough time to wait for legislation to go through.

“This is already the second shooting we’ve had in a week. People are scared, the atmosphere is tense” Mayor Frey stated, urging Minnesotans to stick together.
