Vying to take the reigns of Metropolitan State presidency isn't exactly an easy task. Three presidential semi-finalists named for Metropolitan State University
The names of three semi-finalists for president of Metropolitan State University have been submitted to the chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, James H. McCormick. The candidates are Kenoye Kelvin Eke, Sue Kiefer Hammersmith and Joseph F. Sheley.

Puerto Rico? Is this a typo? Not for some students.
From Feb. 23 to March 8, four Metropolitan State University students of the technical communication program conducted individual research in Puerto Rico. Lisa De Luney, Jennifer Klein, Ruth Macdonald and myself stayed in the Casa de Huespedes on the Universidad de Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras campus, where we also observed classes and worked with students. Professors Craig Hanson and Suzanne Walfoort accompanied the students.

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system has achieved all five performance goals set by the governor and legislature, including increasing enrollment of students taking college courses in science, technology, engineering and math, Chancellor James H. McCormick said today.
The performance goals were adopted as part of the 2008-2009 legislative appropriation. Under the appropriation bill, which passed in the 2007 legislature, about $13 million, or 1 percent of the system's biennial appropriation has been held... |
