FallFest 2007 Kick-off Events

Sept. 4: Raffle Ticket Drawing: Students and staff are able to purchase raffle tickets for $2.50 each to win two weeks of FREE parking at the St. Paul Campus main parking lot. WIN tons of other stuff, too.

Sept. 11: Student Organization, Get-2-Know ‘Em: Metropolitan State University student organizations will be hosting an Open House for students interested in student organization participation, at the New Main Great Hall, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Sept. 12: Dinner with Leaders: Metropolitan State University students, staff and faculty are invited for a FREE dinner with the university’s leaders and student organization presidents at the New Main Great Hall from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. All students welcome.

Sept. 19: Open Mic-Night with DJ Trinidad: Metropolitan State University students bring their talents (and non-talents) on campus. Event to take place at the Founders Hall Auditorium, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free event and open to the public.

Sept. 20: So You Think You Can ThinkFast: Challenge the rest of your colleagues to a night of ThinkFast at the Founders Hall Auditorium, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Family and friends are welcome. $200 in prizes and cashes for winners. Free event and open to the public.

Sept. 23: Metro State Student’s First Annual Golf Tournament: Metropolitan State University alumni, students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in the Metro State Student’s First Annual Golf. This is an 18-hole tournament, and the winner will receive trophy. Tournament fee is $27 per person, and get a cart for an extra $10.

Sept. 25: Urban Culture Night: Students from different nationalities will be catering their ethnic food/dish as part of the Urban Culture Food Night, followed by fashion. Event to take place at the NM Great Hall from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. ($3 fee for food).

Sept. 27: Get Funk, Get Hypnotized: Get an exclusive 90 minutes up-close with Professional Stage Hypnotist AL KAYTRAZ, show starts at 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Founders Hall Auditorium. Free event and open to the public.

Sept. 28: Urban Culture Campus Activities: Come out and join the FUN as the FallFest 2007 committee brings you an all day full of activities, games, shows and live music to your university’s St. Paul Campus Courtyard, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
