Minnesota Sword Club
Located on Chicago Ave. in Minneapolis, this club has been developing fencers for over 25 years. The 10,000 square foot facility includes a sitting area overlooking the main fencing floor, a youth fencing room, changing rooms, an equipment repair shop and more. Adults work in a style designed for mature individuals. The pace depends upon the individual and has no preset rate. Scheduling is flexible since members can attend whenever and as often as they like.
Schedule: Adult classes are 12-1:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays/Thursdays. Open bouting practice for all members is available Mondays–Thursdays and Saturdays.
Cost: Three months of unlimited classes, practice time, bouting, facility use and equipment is $138.

Twin Cities Fencing Club
Located three blocks off of Grand Ave. in St. Paul, this club’s training program features a mixture of footwork, technical and tactical drills and high-level bouting to develop skills for successful competition.
Competitive practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays. The gym is open by 7:00 p.m. for athletes to warm up and prepare. A brief footwork practice begins at 7:10. Drills and bouting begin by 7:30 and continue till 9:30. Private lessons are available during practice for an additional fee.
Schedule: Saturdays 1–2:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays 7–9:30 p.m.
Cost: Three months is $180.
