Metropolitan State appoints new advisor
Samuel Neng Vang of Cottage Grove was appointed academic advisor for the Metropolitan State University College of Management by President Wilson G. Bradshaw.
In this position, Vang would provide academic advising to undergraduates who are majoring in one of the majors offered by the College of Management.
Vang has worked at Metropolitan State since April 1998 as Asian Student Services director, and since 2005 as international student advisor.
Previously, Vang worked at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire as student services coordinator. Earlier, he was a project coordinator/advisor and a graduate assistant at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse.
Vang holds a B.S. in biology and is pursuing an M.S. in education from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse.
