Computer lab in Minneapolis is moving

Metropolitan State University students will have access to the Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) Open Computer Labs beginning January 10, 2005. Because of the co-location venture with MCTC, the Open Computer Lab at 720 Hennepin Ave. was closed on December 12, 2004.

MCTC is located at 1501 Hennepin Ave. A current student ID is mandatory for computer lab use. Students must swipe their student ID in order to gain access to the MCTC computer labs. For more information about obtaining a student ID, visit http://www.metrostate.edu/library.id.htm/

Students will have access to the same software applications that were formerly available in the Minneapolis Open Computer Lab. Students will continue to receive free, unlimited duplex-laser printing.

For more information about the MCTC Open Computer Lab, including location and hours, go to http://www.minneapolis.edu/its/labs/index.cfm

Questions regarding technical services can be directed to IT Student Support at IT.StudentSupport@metrostate.edu
