George W. Bush and Bill Clinton have joined forces to benefit victims of the South Asian tsunami. Will this spirit of collaboration have a trickle-down effect on Congress?

Paul Learned:Will the spirit of cooperation between Bill Clinton and George Bush trickle down into Congress? We see this happen every once in a while in politics, and it is always fun to watch, for the simple reason that people in government actually get along for a change. ...Enjoy it while it lasts

Philip Fuehrer:Collaboration....is not a natural state in either the nation’s Capitol or in today’s American politics. On both sides of the aisle, from supporters to strategists to the politicians themselves, there is nothing better than denigrating your opponent and the enemy political party.

...Only political change will reduce bipartisan bickering
