Rox Boxing supports local artists
Rox Boxing and Fitness is hosting "Rox da Art," a night of art, wine and music to support local area artists on March 11.
The North LoDo neighborhood has recently seen an immense amount of growth and redevelopment in recent years and is home to many architects, artists, designers, small music venues and the like. Rox Boxing and Fitness, independently owned and operated, is centrally located in North Lower Downtown and would like to do its part to bring local residents together to enjoy the sights and sounds the neighborhood has to offer.
Rox Boxing and Fitness has a unique space that offers an ideal location to host an event in support of local area artists. The nearby Walnut Room, well known to many neighborhood residents, has established itself as a quality venue supporting many local musicians.
The art show will be held at Rox Boxing and Fitness located at 2601 Walnut Street from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. with live music to follow at the Walnut Room located at 3131 Walnut Street at 8:00 p.m.
All proceeds from Rox ‘da Art will go toward the participating artists and musicians. Entry to the art show at Rox Boxing and Fitness is free. Tickets for the music show are $5 dollars at the Rox Boxing art show, or $10 at the door at the Walnut Room. Tickets are not available in advance and reservations are not required.
