Free night on the town

Enjoy two free concerts presented by the Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC). A faculty recital will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 7:30 pm. The program will be rich and varied, crossing a span of styles from blues to classical.

A Spring Choral Concert featuring the MCTC Concert Choir, Vocal Ensemble and Lunchbreak Choir, will be held on Friday, April 29 at 7:30 pm. The concert, directed by Dr. Elizabeth Pauly and accompanied by Christopher Wolter will include compositions and arrangements by Jonathan Larson, Janika Vandervelde, Alf Houkom and others. Children are welcome to attend this performance that will feature music and songs from all over the world. Non-perishable food donations are encouraged and may be deposited in marked bins outside the theater. Donations will benefit the Hennepin County Emergency Food Network.

Both performances take place in the Whitney Fine Arts Theater on the MCTC campus and will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.

Contact Dr. Elizabeth Pauly at 612-659-6000, ex. 4098 for more information.
